Whether you’re on a family holiday, a couple’s retreat, or a solo traveller–if you want a hands-on cooking experience then this class is for you!

Your Rome pasta class starts with a friendly meet-and-greet from your chef and host over a refreshing glass of prosecco (or non-alcoholic beverage). Then you’ll start making your own tiramisù to enjoy at the end of the cooking class. Use local ingredients to whip up this creamy Italian dessert and store it in the fridge to cool for later.

Pas-ta test of true Italian cooking

Next up, it’s pasta o’clock. Your local chef will guide you through the process of making age-old recipes. Get your hands dirty and make traditional Italian fettuccine from scratch. Prepare and mix your dough, knead, and cut it using the tricks that have been in our family for generations.

But of course, no pasta is complete without a sauce: so we’ll create a typical Roman recipe: carbonara or cacio e pepe.

Yes, we offer classes in English and Italian. Other languages may be available upon request.

Yes, we offer both private classes and group sessions.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours will not be refunded.

Please note that due to the menu we prepare during the class, we are unable to accommodate participants who have coeliac disease, gluten intolerance, and/or follow a vegan diet. We also cannot accommodate lactose intolerance as we use dairy products.

If you have any dietary restrictions please let us know in advance so we can figure out how to best accommodate your needs.

Do I need to know how to cook to take this class?

No cooking experience is necessary. Whether you’re a seasoned (pun intended) pro or totally new to the kitchen, this class is perfect for all skill levels. We’ll guide you through every step, so you can enjoy the process and still learn something new.

Can children take this class?

Yes! This is a family-friendly class, and kids as young as 5 years old are welcome, as long as they’re supervised by their parents. It’s hands-on and interactive, making it fun for little ones, but parents should help when using sharp objects. We’ll also have non-alcoholic substitutes for the tiramisu.

If I'm vegetarian can I still join the class?

Absolutely! We offer vegetarian options. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate vegan diets or gluten allergies. Be sure to let us know about any dietary restrictions ahead of time so we can prepare accordingly.

How big are the classes?

Our classes are kept small and intimate, with a maximum of 14 participants, ensuring plenty of personal attention from your chef.

Do I need to wear or bring anything special to the class?

We’ll provide aprons, but if you’re worried about getting your clothes dirty, we recommend wearing something you don’t mind staining. Other than that, just bring yourself—everything else will be taken care of!

Do I get a copy of the pasta recipe?

Yes, after the class, you’ll receive a digital copy of the pasta and tiramisu recipe, so you can recreate it all at home.

Are private classes available?

Yes, we offer a semi-private food tour and private food tour options. If you’re looking for a more personalised experience, you can upgrade to a private class, perfect for special events like birthdays, anniversaries, or team buildings. You’ll get more one-on-one attention from the chef, and we can tailor the experience to better suit your needs.

Will I get to eat the food I make?

Of course, the best part of making pasta is eating it. After you’ve prepared your dish, you’ll sit down and enjoy your homemade meal with your fellow chefs.

What is included in the class?

We’ve got you covered! Everything you need to create your pasta and tiramisu will be provided, including ingredients, equipment, and an apron. You’ll also receive step-by-step instructions from a local expert chef. Plus, you’ll get a digital recipe to take home at the end.

How long does the class last?

Our pasta-making classes typically last 3 hours, giving you plenty of time to cook and enjoy your meal and dessert.
