There’s an old Italian proverb that goes “If someone visits Rome but doesn’t do a Spritz and Spaghetti class, did they really visit Rome?” Okay, it’s not that old. Or even a proverb. Actually we just made it up. But it makes a good point.

Travelling is all about trying new things, and that includes cuisine. What better way to do that than by immersing yourself in the local culture and spending time with fellow foodies? As the most unique pasta-making class in Rome, this experience blends timeless Italian traditions with several local drinks. Sip on traditional cocktails, make delicious, homemade pasta, and live la dolce vita while celebrating holidays–the Italian way. Spaces fill up fast so book now, and get to cooking.

Enjoy a warm welcome from your chef and host as you step into our kitchen. We’ll start with a mixology demo to master Italy’s most-loved drink: Aperol Spritz. While sipping on your Spritz, you’ll start your hands-on pasta-making class and feel the flour-power flow through you under the guidance of a fun-loving, fluent chef. 

Never tried pasta making before? Don’t know your fettuccine from your fusilli? Don’t worry. Our chefs love sharing their secrets and spreading real Italian cooking all around the world. Your chef will guide you every step of the way – from kneading the dough to cutting it into pasta perfection. Believe us, you’ll definitely knead a drink after this.

It’s Spritz-O-Clock

Cooking is hard work and hard work calls for a drink—or two. As a reward for working hard, we’ll treat you to two other traditional cocktails. Together, we’ll blend bubbly with bitter in a traditional Hugo Spritz before satisfying your sweet tooth with a shot of Limoncello.

Timeless recipes with a tipsy twist

After a Spritz-break we’ll continue our workout by making a creamy carbonara sauce or classic cacio e pepe to coat your fresh pasta. At the end of the class, you’ll enjoy the delicious meal you’ve made in the fun company of your new foodie friends! So come and join our Spritz & Spaghetti Class for a truly tipsy taste of Rome!

Yes, we offer classes in English and Italian. Other languages may be available upon request.

Yes, we offer both private classes and group sessions.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours will not be refunded.

Please note that due to the menu we prepare during the class, we are unable to accommodate participants who have coeliac disease, gluten intolerance, and/or follow a vegan diet. We also cannot accommodate lactose intolerance as we use dairy products.

Do I need to have cooking experience to take this class?

Not at all! Whether you’re a cooking expert or a complete beginner, this class is designed for all skill levels. We’ll guide you through every step of the process, so you can relax, have fun, and still pick up some new skills.

Even though there's alcohol, can children join this class?

Because of the mixology aspect of the class, it is aimed primarily at adults. For a more family-friendly experience we recommend our Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class where kids as young as 5 years old are welcome, and there will still be some alcohol on hand for the parents!

Is this class suitable for vegetarians?

Definitely! We offer vegetarian-friendly options. That being said, we can’t accommodate vegan diets or gluten allergies. Just let us know about any dietary restrictions ahead of time, and we’ll make sure to have everything prepared for you.

How many people are in the classes?

We keep our classes small and cosy, with a maximum of 14 participants. This allows for plenty of one-on-one attention from your chef, so you get the most out of the experience.

Do I need to wear anything special to the class?

No special attire is required. We’ll provide aprons for everyone, but if you’re worried about getting your clothes dirty, we recommend wearing something you don’t mind getting a little messy. Other than that, just bring yourself and your appetite—we’ll handle everything else!

Will I get a copy of the recipe to take home?

Yes, of course! After the class, you’ll receive a digital copy of both the pasta and spritz recipes, so you can recreate Italian deliciousness at home.

Is it possible to upgrade to a private class?

Yes! If you’re after a more personalised experience, you can book a private class, which is great for special events like birthdays, anniversaries, or team-building activities. Benefits include more one-on-one time with the chef, and everything tailored to your needs and interests.

Will I get to eat the food and drink the spritz I make?

Absolutely! The only thing better than making pasta is eating it! After making a spritz we’ll sip on it as we cook and when everything is done you’ll get to dig into your homemade pasta and enjoy another drink to wash it all down.

What does the class include?

We’ve got everything covered! You’ll receive all the ingredients, equipment, aprons, and of course, alcohol. A local expert chef will guide you step by step, and you’ll even get a digital recipe to take home once the class is over.

How long does the class last?

Our classes typically last 3 hours, giving you plenty of time to cook, sip, and enjoy time with your newfound friends.

If I don't drink alcohol can I still take the class?

Of course! Although a part of our class involves making traditional Italian spritzes, we’ll have non-alcoholic options available upon request.
