Rome is all romance, ruins, and candlelit dinners… until the sun goes down. That’s when the stories get darker.

Beneath the beauty lies a city shaped by betrayal, executions, and mysteries that were never quite laid to rest. From powerful popes to doomed artists, Rome’s past is full of people who met unfortunate ends…and, according to local legend, some of them are still hanging around.

On our Rome Ghost Tour, you’ll join a band of curious thrill-seekers and a local guide who knows exactly where the bodies are buried, figuratively… mostly. Expect tales of conspiracies, gruesome deaths, and the kind of history that doesn’t usually make it into guidebooks.

Things begin in Campo de’ Fiori, where you’ll get your Ghost Hunter Kit, an unofficial toolkit for the night. Inside, you’ll find clues, chilling details, and everything you need for spirit spotting.

We’ll visit a church decorated with human bones, uncover the past of a notorious executioner, stand where prisoners once awaited grim fates, and pass a beauty shop with a surprisingly deadly reputation.

Expect spooky storytelling and eerie video recreations that bring these stories uncomfortably close to life, just enough to make you glance over your shoulder.

The night ends at Castel Sant’Angelo, where some of the city’s most disturbing executions took place, and where your final story might just be the worst of all.

Finish the tour, and you’ll earn a Certificate of Survival. And if you don’t see a ghost. Well… they might have seen you.
