Ancient Rome just got more exclusive with our Semi-Private Colosseum Arena Tour. Get priority access to the legendary Colosseum arena floor, a recently reopened section of one of the world’s most iconic monuments. With a small group capped at just six guests, you’ll beat the crowds and benefit from the full attention of an expert guide ready to bring Rome’s dramatic past to life.

This immersive experience skips the fluff and focuses on the information that matters most to you. Fewer people means more opportunities to ask all of your burning questions as you explore the Colosseum and its arena floor, the Roman Forum, and the Palatine Hill. What’s more, with fast-track access, you’ll glide through security stress-free, maximising every moment of your visit.

Enter the Colosseum through the Gladiator’s Gate and step directly onto the arena floor, retracing the path walked by gladiators almost 2,000 years ago. Your guide will transport you back to the inaugural games, when over 50,000 spectators gathered to witness epic gladiator battles, wild beast hunts, and public executions on the very ground beneath your feet.

Learn about the grandeur and brutality of Rome at its peak, when the Colosseum served as a stage to flaunt the empire’s military conquests, rare animals, and enslaved captives. With a smaller group, your guide can customise the experience, diving into the details that fascinate you most, from myth-busting Hollywood portrayals (yes, you’ll talk about Gladiator) to the surprising engineering feats of the ancient world.

Next, journey to the birthplace of Rome itself: the Palatine Hill. This archaeological treasure trove is where emperors once lived in luxury. Explore ruins dating from the Iron Age through the Renaissance, and take in panoramic views across the Eternal City, perfect for photos.

Your adventure continues down to the Roman Forum, the political and cultural heart of ancient Rome. Here, you’ll walk the Via Sacra, the path once used for triumphal marches, and stand at the site where Julius Caesar was cremated. Hear gripping stories of Roman law, oratory, betrayal, and power beneath the shadows of monuments like the Arches of Titus and Septimius Severus.

This semi-private tour is designed for curious travellers who crave deeper connection, fewer crowds, and a more personalised way to experience Rome’s ancient wonders. If you’ve dreamed of stepping into history, there’s no better way to do it.
